TEN PLAGUES (Exodus 7-12)

1. Water
       
è blood

Pharaoh's heart is hardened since magicians could do the same.  (7:22)

2. Frogs

Pharaoh has Moses pray for respite and promises to let the people go. When there is respite, Pharaoh hardens his heart. (8:15)

3. Gnats

The magicians call it "the finger of God."  Pharaoh's heart is hardened.  (8:19)

4. Flies

Pharaoh will let them go three days' journey.  When there is respite, Pharaoh hardens his heart.  (8:32)

5. Plague on
    livestock

Pharaoh's heart is hardened.
(9:7)

6. Boils

God hardens Pharaoh's heart. (9:12)

7. Hail

Pharaoh confesses that he has sinned, but when the hail ceases, Pharaoh hardens his heart. (9:34)

8. Locusts

Pharaoh allows only men to go. Then confesses his sin.
God hardens Pharaoh's heart. (10:20)

9. Darkness

Pharaoh allows people
but not flocks to go. God hardens Pharaoh’s heart. (10:27)

10. Death of
      firstborn

Pharaoh allows them to go.
God hardens Pharaoh's heart and he pursues them. (14:8)
