Troas

Acts
16:9-10

Paul stopped at Troas on the west coast of Asia Minor. During the night he had a vision in which a man told him to come to Macedonia, across the Aegean Sea. Paul soon set sail.

Context: Troas was an important port city along the Aegean Sea. Built shortly after the time of Alexander the Great, it was situated in northwestern Asia Minor, south of the ancient city of Troy. Paul traveled through Troas several times.
