V.        Insights, Thoughts, Inspirational Comments, and Learnings from your Papers

Ø          If you were to add additional wisdom works or topics to this course (like Part 2 of the course), what would those be and why?

Ø         Granted many of the wisdom writings show up in similar forms in other religious traditions.  Now bring this information into a small group study at church XYZ where some of the participants find this information distressing and others think it would be exciting to study goddess worship and Christian teachings (or, from one extreme to the other of reactions to wisdom literature). Could you discuss how you would explain the theological implications wisdom texts for the members of this study group?

Ø          Does the Holy Spirit = Wisdom for today?

Ø          Do we need to reconcile the maleness of Jesus and the femininity of Woman Wisdom?

Ø          If Sophia is basically Greek for wisdom, why has it become such a divisive name for some?

Ø          Is wisdom outside the Trinity or is wisdom one of the characteristics of the Trinity?

Ø          How do we identify biblical Wisdom with today’s wisdom?
