Come hear from students and faculy about their recent travels through the Holy Land this January. This trip was an international cross-cultural course led by Dr. Gary Simpson.

H1N1 Vaccines available for community 4 years and older. Bring health insurance cards.
Cost-$20.40 for injection, $13.31 for nasal sprayer.
Seasonal flu vaccines will be available on a limited basis.
Community Meal - February 10 (Top Headlines)
Community Meal is scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday in each month (except January) during the 2009-2010 academic year.
Everyone - students, staff, faculty, families, neighbors - are all invited to this time together.
At the same time we enjoy our meals together, we try to help those facing difficult times. Please bring a non-perishable food item to the community meal. Cash donations are accepted. The bounty will be shared with the neighborhood food shelves.

Concord submissions welcomed! (Top Headlines)
A reminder that submissions for the Concord's February 2010 edition focusing on "The Gender Divide" are due at noon on Thursday, Feb. 18.
Gender matters. What does it mean to be a man or a woman in ministry? What experiences have you had with gender issues that have shaped you? How do we deal with these issues at seminary and in our congregations and daily lives? How does God help us negotiate the rocky terrain of being men and women of faith together? Send submissions to concord@luthersem.edu. Pay rate for students is $15 for articles less than half a page (of Concord space) and $30 per article a half-page or larger.
Women Leading presents Women's Voice: Assertive, Authentic and Compassionate. - February 9 (Top Headlines)
Join Women Leading for our first event of this semester!
Rev. Theresa F. Latini, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Congregational and Community Care will present honest expression, a particular skill set in nonviolent communication, as a way for women (and men) to speak with authenticity, clarity, and forthrightness.
You are welcome to bring your lunch and join us as your schedule allows. Our "Gather Round" will be held on Feb. 23.
