Financial Aid Exit Counseling Session
All graduating seniors who borrowed federal loans (including Perkins and Mourer) while attending Luther Seminary must attend an exit counseling session.

Application for Graduation
Apply for graduation by October 1, 2009; for MA, MDIV, Certificate students. GTE students (MTH, PHD, DMIN) should contact the GTE Office directly. Information on this form is used to create graduation lists, order diplomas and gowns, print bulletins and other graduation event invitations.

Summer Graduates Must Register

Two courses (including all outstanding incompletes, but excluding the BPE and M.A. Thesis/Writing Project) is the MAXIMUM number of courses a student may have to complete in the summer and still participate in graduation.
Summer graduates must complete summer registration by May 1.

In Absentia Requests
Attendance at commencement is expected. Graduating students not intending to attend are to file a request for "In Absentia" with the Registrar's Office.

Account clearances at Business Office and Library
All accounts must be cleared for graduating students in order to receive a diploma and academic gown!!
Return the completed form to the Registrar's Office by:
Fall/J-Term Candidates - Friday, January 8, 2010
Spring Candidates - Friday, May 7, 2010
Summer Candidates - your account clearance form will be held at the Office of the Registrar and should be completed during summer.
All graduating students (even if you know you have nothing outstanding!) must download the account clearance form and take it to the Business Office. If there is a balance on your account, it must be cleared. At the Library, all books must be returned and fines paid. Each office listed must sign the account clearance form. Return the form to the Office of the Registrar by the dates listed above.
This must be completed before you attempt to pick up your academic gown.
Please indicate a forwarding address on the account clearance form.

Pick up your gown at the Registrar's Office after your holds are cleared.
Wednesday, 5/19 or Thursday, 5/20 during regular office hours:
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon; 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
One free voucher for parking at Central Lutheran Church will be given to you when you pick up your gown.

Save Your HomeDrive Documents
On August 1, your student network account will convert to an alumni/ae account. You can take advantage of many lifetime services including lifetime alumni/ae e-mail and instant messaging. Find out more at www.luthersem.edu/lifetime
However, you will no longer have access to your network (H:) drive.
All the files on your homedrive (H:) will be deleted on August 1st. Please copy them to your own computer before the end of the day on July 31st. You may use homedrive.luthersem.edu to download your files.
Optional: Students can have a copy of their H: drive burned to CD-ROM on request. There is a $5 charge for the CD and burning it, $8 if you want us to send it to you. Contact the Help Desk if you are interested at (651) 641-3462 or email helpdesk@luthersem.edu
