Registration Instructions

LG1200 50  Greek Online

 

PLEASE NOTE:  Students taking this class to complete the Greek prerequisite proficiency requirement at Luther Seminary need to complete both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Greek Online course.  Together, these two parts are equivalent to the course and a half Greek requirement listed in the catalog description.

Steps to complete registration and begin the online Greek course:
           (to be completed in this order)

1) Contact Office of Admissions  (Already a Luther Seminary student? skip to #2)
  
 to be admitted to study status at Luther Seminary and
    to be assigned a student ID#.

2) Contact the Office of the Registrar
    Once you have been admitted and assigned a student ID
    Register for the course through the Luther Seminary Registrar's Office.

3) Get Assigned a UserID and Password to Access the course
    Once the Network Services and the Instructor receives notification of your registration from the Registrar, Network staff will contact you with your UserID and Password information, and the Insstructor for the course will contact you with a Welcome Message and Instructions on how to get started in the course.

4) The student uses the login and password
   
to enter the Greek Online Course area within the MyLuthernet Portal with its instructions and resources within the MyLuthernet Portal site and begins the class.  Normally, students who register for LG1200 50 Greek Online have two years from the time of enrollment to complete the two parts of the course.

Registration dates for online Greek:
Greek Online students are expected to read and follow the Registrar's Office dates for when registration for courses may be completed, but because of the different time frame for the course, Greek online students have special guidelines for dropping, withdrawal and initial submission of work for the course.
