"On Holy Ground: A Resource on Faith and the Environment," from the editors of Sojourners magazine.
Prayers for a Planetary Pilgrim,
E. M. Hays. Forest of Peace Books: 1989.
I was first introduced to this book of prayers as a junior in high school, and it is the one prayer book that I still use religiously (please excuse the pun). The majority of the prayers are organized by seasons, which helps readers to be more attuned to the rhythms of nature and to recognize where God can be found in the natural world. The book also includes prayers for life events that are usually left out of more traditional prayers and rituals.
