Understanding by Design & Problem-Based Learning

Here's material on facets of understanding that I worked with when developing my New Testament exegesis-teaching tool, Into the New Testament.

Here I describe the steps in problem-based learning.

Matthew

A bibliography of resources for teaching and preaching the Gospel of Matthew.

Blogs

Somehow I have managed to start three blogs, each of which deserves more time than it receives from me.

Balancing Pose is where I post on everything from reading, to trips, to the dog, to educational technology, to yoga and racquetball.

Pilgrim Preaching is specifically dedicated to "Keeping company with biblical texts and the people who hear and preach them." I write on lectionary texts here.

Eat Your Plants follows my adventures as a vegan, with recipes.

Into the New Testament

Into the New Testament is my 2003-04 sabbatical project, a web site to teach New Testament exegetical skills. It includes resource pages on nine different skills along with some problem-based learning problems for practicing those skills.
