In December of 1999,  the second WMC Concultation, including Continuing Education Directors, Presidents of Luther and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminaries, and now expanded to include representatives of ELCA Synods and church colleges from regions 1, 2, and 3, and a few other invited participants from the Eastern and Covenant Clusters of the ELCA,  gathered to further our common discussion of mission and strategy for the future of continuing education in light of Clustering and the Eleven Imperatives for Theological Education. Following is a summary Report of the Consultation and the text of major presentations that initiated the discussion.
